Learn MoreCSHP serves as the primary coordinating body for non-faith based civil society organizations in Zambia's health sector. We facilitate regular stakeholder meetings, create communication platforms, and ensure that health interventions are strategically aligned with national priorities. Our coordination efforts prevent duplication, reduce resource waste, and amplify collective impact across all 10 provinces.
Using advanced GIS technology, we map and geocode every health intervention by CSOs and NGOs across Zambia. This comprehensive database tracks who is doing what, where, and with what resources. The mapping system enables evidence-based decision-making, identifies geographic gaps in service delivery, and provides real-time accountability for donors and government partners.
We deliver tailored capacity building programs covering governance, financial management, M&E systems, grant writing, and program implementation. Our training reaches hundreds of health CSO professionals annually, strengthening local ownership and sustainability. We also provide technical assistance for organizational development and compliance with national health standards.
The CSHP Trust Fund provides catalytic financing to CSOs and NGOs implementing health programs. We manage fund disbursement, monitor project performance, and ensure transparent reporting. The Trust Fund prioritizes underfunded health areas including maternal health, infectious disease control, and health systems strengthening, enabling grassroots organizations to scale impactful interventions.
